In a shocking daylight robbery, two masked teenagers entered a bank in Bihar, looted ₹1.5 lakh, and calmly walked out—all within 90 seconds. The incident took place at a branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB) in Hajipur, Vaishali district.
How the Robbery Happened
The entire crime was captured on CCTV. The footage shows one of the robbers, holding a small gun, threatening customers and staff, while the other quickly collects the cash from the counter. Customers, visibly scared, are seen huddled together, some sitting on small plastic chairs in the cramped office, as the robbers carry out their plan.
According to the police, the criminals were just 17 and 18 years old. They entered the bank, executed the robbery swiftly, and locked the bank staff and customers inside before escaping.
Surabhi Suman, a senior police officer, confirmed that photographs of the criminals have been circulated in various groups so that people can help identify them and inform the local police station.
The incident occurred just a day after a police encounter in Patna, raising concerns about rising criminal activities in the region. The police are now searching for the suspects and investigating further.
