SBI Seijosa employee accused of withdrawing cash from customer’s account

An employee working in SBI branch in Seijosa has been accused of ₹5 Lakh Withdrawal From Elderly Woman’s Account.

The All Dissing Passo Seijosa Students’ Union has alleged that an employee of the State Bank of India’s Seijosa branch in Arunachal Pradesh illegally withdrew ₹5 lakh from the account of an elderly woman.

According to the union, the employee reportedly admitted to the alleged act in a video shared on its Facebook page. The union has called for a fair and time-bound investigation and demanded legal action if the allegations are established.

It also urged stronger safeguards to protect elderly and vulnerable bank customers from financial exploitation. Official confirmation from SBI or the concerned authorities is awaited.
