Bank Officer took money from customer but did not deposit in his account, Police starts investigation

Churu: A case of embezzlement of Rs 75000 by a field officer has come to light in a private bank located in Agrasen Nagar of the city. The branch manager has registered a case against the field officer at Sadar police station.

According to information received from Sadar police station, Virendra Singh Shekhawat (27), branch manager of a private bank located in Agrasen Nagar, reported that his bank provides assistance to women in rural and urban areas by giving them loans.

The field officer of his bank, Shivpal Singh, resident of village Lohasna Bada, works to give loans to women and collect their installments. Shivpal Singh, misusing his position, took money from members Kavita, Rukmani, Saroj Kanwar and Shobha Devi and did not deposit the installment.

Higher officials have certified the embezzlement of payment of Rs 75000 by Shivpal Singh. Thus, a fraud of Rs 75000 has been committed by Shivpal Singh. Sadar Police has registered a case against Shivpal Singh under IPC sections and started investigation.
