Is UCO Bank, Union Bank, BOM, BOI being merged?

Recently, following image is being circulated on social media and bankers are speculating about the merger of UCO Bank, Union Bank, Bank of Maharashtra and Bank of India.

In the image, it’s written that members of parliamentary committee will meet representatives of UCO Bank, Union Bank, Bank of Maharashtra and Bank of India to discuss about post-merger scenario.

As per the details available till now, government has not announced any plans of merger but if any such news is released then we will update you soon.
