Using the footage, police traced the suspect’s path from Bapat Chauraha to Hiranagar and Banganga areas. Later footage showed him returning to Sheetal Nagar and then entering Shyamnagar (Hiranagar), where his motorcycle was found parked. The police searched through 1172 CCTV cameras installed across the city. This network helped them track the suspect’s movements, identify his vehicle, and match the raincoat seen during the robbery. Based on the CCTV footage, the police raided the accused’s house and recovered about Rs 3 lakh. He fled before the police arrived. Police are now tracking him based on his mobile location.

When the police took out the footage from inside the bank, the robber was seen wearing a raincoat. The police started connecting the footage and prepared a roadmap of his arrival and departure. The accused was seen coming from Bapat Square. This made it clear that he is a resident of Hiranagar or Banganga area. When the police searched the footage of his departure, he was seen going towards Sheetal Nagar. After this, he entered Shyamnagar (Hiranagar).

People told that the bike belongs to Arun Singh and he has retired from the army. Currently he works as a guard. When the police raided Arun’s house in the early morning, he was found absconding. However, the police found an amount of around four lakh rupees in the house. When the police took out the location of Arun’s mobile, it was found to be around Rajgarh.
