
A private loan employee of SBI was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his room in Atarra, Banda district. The forensic team conducted an investigation at the scene. Amit (27), a resident of Parichat village in Maudaha tehsil of Hamirpur district, was living in a rented house on Badousa Road in Atarra.
He was working privately in the main branch of the State Bank of India on Gangahi Road, handling credit card loans. On Tuesday morning, his body was found hanging from a rope attached to the fan inside the room. As the door did not open until late morning, the neighbors knocked on the door, but there was no response from inside.
Due to suspicion of foul play, they informed the police. He was the eldest and unmarried among three brothers. Shashank Deep Khare, the branch manager of SBI, stated that Amit worked privately on loan matters in the bank. Inspector Pankaj Singh of the Kotwali police station stated that the body has been taken into custody. The family has been informed about the incident. Once the post-mortem report is received and a written complaint is filed by the family members, further action will be taken.
