RBI Officers Salary 2025: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has increased the salaries of its officers. The minimum basic pay for Grade A officers has been increased from Rs.44500 to Rs.62500. With this hike, the salary of a Grade A officer is expected to exceed Rs.1.10 lac per month. Grade A Officer is the junior most officer level post in RBI. The hierarchy of officer posts in RBI is as follows:

The new starting basic pay of each grade is as follows:

With effect from November 01, 2022, the amount payable as Special Allowance stands revised as under:

RBI Grade B Salary
RBI Grade B is the most sought-after post in RBI. Each year, lacs of candidates apply for this recruitment exam. Candidates are recruited directly to the post of RBI Grade B whereas Grade A posts are generally filled via promotions of candidates from RBI Assistant cadre.
