
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released list of Officers who will be exempted from the new Transfer Policy. As per the new Transfer Policy, an officer will be posted in a branch for 3 years, in a circle for 6 years and in a zone for 9 years. But now, PNB has released a list of Officers who will get exemption from this rotational transfer.
The following categories of officers shall be exempted from outstation (including Circle & Zone) transfers based on the gravity and genuineness of circumstances:
- Differently Abled Officers & Caregivers
- Officers who are differently abled.
- Caregivers having differently abled dependents (declared as dependent in HRMS) as per Government guidelines.
- Medical Assistance Cases
- Officers, their spouse, or dependent children requiring medical treatment for terminal/critical illness.
- Efforts will be made to post such officers at a place where specialized medical treatment is available.
- Officers Nearing Retirement
- Officers retiring within the next 2 years (as of 31st March).
- Bereavement Cases
- Officers who have lost their spouse – exemption for 2 years from the date of death.
- Female Officers (Maternity & Childcare)
- Female officers in family way: 2 years 9 months exemption, including 9 months of pregnancy.
- Female officers having a child below 2 years of age (till the child turns 2).
- Note: At any given time, only one of the above exemptions shall be applicable. Repeated exemption or invocation of both clauses is not allowed for a particular transfer order.
- Sportspersons
- Officers actively participating at the National/International level in games covered under the Bank’s Policy for Sportspersons.
