The United Forum of Bank Unions has proposed a three-day bank strike from 28 September to 30 September 2026. SBI has informed its customers about the strike. SBI said that it will make every possible effort to provide essential banking services during the strike period.

SBI has advised Customers to complete their important banking transactions before the strike dates. This will help avoid any inconvenience during the three-day period.

Customers who need cash are advised to use ATMs and ADWMs to meet their cash requirements. It is better to withdraw the required cash before the strike dates if necessary.

Customers can also use SBI customer service centres for available banking-related services during this period.

Customers are encouraged to use digital banking channels such as Internet Banking, YONO, Mobile Banking, UPI and other digital services for their banking needs.

SBI has expressed regret for the inconvenience that may be caused due to the proposed strike and requested customers for their cooperation and support.
