UCO Bank Staff Asked to Work on Holidays for RWA Activities During Durga Pujo 2026
UCO Bank has asked some of its employees to work on holidays for RWA activities during Durga Pujo 2026. The bank will take part in events organised at residential welfare associations (RWAs) in association with The Times of India.
The main aim is to meet potential customers, increase the bank’s visibility and promote its banking services.
According to a communication issued by the UCO Bank Durgapur Zone on September 18, 2026, the first event will be held on September 20, 2026, at IQ City. Steel City Branch (SOL ID 1408) will coordinate the event. The event will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Another event will be held on September 26, 2026, at Aquapolis. City Centre Branch (SOL ID 0570) will coordinate the event. The event will also be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Both September 20 and September 26, 2026, are holidays. Therefore, the assigned employees have been asked to remain available at the event venues during the scheduled hours. The communication says that the coordinating branches and assigned staff must make themselves available at the venues as per the schedule.
During these events, UCO Bank staff will focus on getting new customers and opening accounts through TAB Banking.
They will also promote the bank’s deposit products, digital banking services and other banking facilities among visitors and residents of the RWAs.
