
Muthoot Microfin Ltd and State Bank of India (SBI) have joined forces to provide co-lending services to members of joint liability groups (JLGs) involved in agricultural and allied activities, as well as other income-generating enterprises.
Under this partnership, loans ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹3 lakh will be offered to empower rural women entrepreneurs. Muthoot Microfin, a subsidiary of the Muthoot Pappachan Group (also known as Muthoot Blue), expressed their commitment to supporting the financial needs of these women.
Thomas Muthoot, the Managing Director of Muthoot Microfin Ltd, emphasized the significance of the collaboration with SBI in reaching a wider audience and catering to the diverse financial requirements of rural women. He stated that their goal is to provide credit access and support to these women in their entrepreneurial endeavors.
