SBI reports Net Profit of Rs 80,032 crores for FY26
SBI has reported Net Profit of ₹80,032 crores for FY26. Let’s have a look at the financials of India’s largest public sector bank for FY2026.
State Bank of India has announced strong financial results for Q4FY26 and the full financial year FY26. The bank’s total business crossed ₹109 trillion, while deposits reached ₹59.8 trillion and advances stood at ₹49.3 trillion.
SBI reported a net profit of ₹80,032 crore for FY26, showing a growth of 12.88% compared to the previous year. The bank’s net profit for Q4FY26 stood at ₹19,684 crore. Operating profit for FY26 also increased by 11.25% to ₹1,23,015 crore.
SBI’s asset quality improved further during the year. The Gross NPA ratio improved to 1.49% and Net NPA ratio improved to 0.39%. Retail, SME, agriculture, and corporate advances all recorded strong growth during the year.
The bank also saw growth in deposits, with CASA deposits increasing by 9.53% year-on-year.
SBI said more than 66% of savings bank accounts in FY26 were opened digitally through YONO, and the share of alternate digital channels in total transactions increased to around 98.7%.
