Union Bank puts relieving of Officers upto Scale III on hold
Union Bank of India has put the relieving of bank officers upto Scale III on hold. Bank said that relieving of all the officers upto scale III who are issued a transfer order during the month of April 2026 on various dates are to be kept on hold till further instructions from Central Office.
Employees of Union Bank were transferred due to their long stay at a particular place. These transfers caused many issues for employees, especially for female employees. Women have to manage both work and home responsibilities, and the transfers created significant difficulties for them.

The All India Union Bank Officers’ Staff Association has filed a case in the Madras High Court against the bank management. The association highlighted various issues related to transfers and postings. The court has ordered a stay on the transfers and postings of employees, and the case will be heard next on 06.05.2026.
