In the video, Lakshay Singhal, the District Magistrate of West Delhi, can be observed respectfully honoring the priest by draping him in a shawl. With folded hands, Singhal engages in a conversation with the priest.

According to reliable sources, the Delhi government has acknowledged the video. A senior official reached out to Singhal to inquire why he offered his own chair to the priest.

Sources indicate that Singhal explained to the officer that he regarded the priest as “a beloved elder,” which is why he extended the courtesy of his office chair.
