Amaresh Kumar, a resident of Sambhai under the Jamo police station in Amethi district, filed an application in the court of the Special Judge (SC/ST Act).

According to his allegations, in January 2024, he was working for his own brothers, Rohit Giri and Mohit Giri, residents of Kanchan Mathiya village.

While accompanying the accused to Jagdishpur and Jamo markets to purchase goods, the brothers obtained his Aadhaar card and photograph under the pretext of opening a bank account and securing benefits from a government scheme.

A loan was fraudulently obtained from the Bank of Baroda branch located at Harimau in Jagdishpur town. It is alleged that the accused misappropriated the loan proceeds.

On May 12, a recovery notice for ₹1,24,438.50 was received from the Harimau branch. When he read the notice, he got to know about the loan taken on his name.

The man went to the bank and enquired about the loan. The bank manager told him that the loan was on his name only. Frustrated and shocked, he filed an appeal in the court. The court has now ordered police to file FIR and investigate into the alleged crime.
