FSIB recommends Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh for the post of MD in SBI

In an announcement made on April 24, the Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) revealed that it has put forth Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh as the recommended candidate for the role of managing director at the State Bank of India (SBI). The FSIB conducted a comprehensive evaluation process, engaging with a total of 16 candidates on April 23 and 24.

After considering the candidates’ performance during the interface, their overall experience, and the existing parameters, the Bureau has confidently recommended Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh for the prestigious position of MD at SBI. Alongside this, the FSIB has also recommended Asheesh Pandey for the position of MD & CEO at Indian Bank.

The ultimate decision regarding the FSIB’s recommendations will be made by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
