Retired Bank Employees demand Pension Updation
Nearly 6 lakh retired bank employees across the country are preparing for agitation demanding pension updation and exemption of medical insurance premium from GST.
On the first day of the triennial convention of All India Union Bank Retirees Federation, AIBRF General Secretary SC Jain said that retired bank employees have been demanding pension updation for the last 31 years, but the bank management, the government and the IBA are not paying attention to their demands.

Now 6 lakh retired bank employees from across the country will protest against the government. I.M. Agarwal, General Secretary of Union Bank Retirees Association Rajasthan, said that the rights and pending problems of retired bank employees were discussed in the conference.
Various issues were discussed in the first two days of the conference. After this, elections for the new executive of the Federation will be held on 9th September.
