The deceased was identified as Ekta (28). Ekta worked as a cashier at HDFC Bank in Delhi. She had been married about a year earlier. Ekta, a resident of Ambala, married Chirag Arora, a resident of Azad Nagar, Yamunanagar, about a year ago. Chirag runs a car accessories business in Delhi, while Ekta also worked in Delhi.

Family members say that Ekta moved to Yamunanagar about two months ago due to her pregnancy.

Chirag’s aunt, Pratibha, said that Ekta had been undergoing treatment at Jaypee Hospital on Railway Road for about a month. She was admitted for a checkup on Wednesday morning. Her condition was normal at the time.

As per reports, Ekta hadn’t even started having labor pains at the time of admission. The doctors then gave her some injections, which caused severe pain and worsened her condition. The doctors then decided to perform a cesarean section. The

The operation took place around 10:30 a.m. Ekta gave birth to a daughter. After the operation, doctors said both mother and daughter were well. However, around 3 p.m., doctors said Ekta’s blood pressure was not under control and she was bleeding profusely.

According to Pratibha, at around 5 p.m., Ekta was being taken to Fortis Hospital in Mohali by ambulance, but she died on the way near the Chhapar police station. The family then took the body to her in-laws’ house. They alleged that the hospital administration sent a hospital cleaning staff with Ekta in the ambulance instead of a medical team.

Dr. Mamta, a gynecologist at Jaypee Hospital, said that the patient was experiencing excessive bleeding after the cesarean section, and the hospital made every effort to stop it.

The police have reached the spot and the investigation is underway. More details will be released soon.
