
In Rajsamand, Rajnagar police arrested a person for trying to collect claim amount from the bank by forging the seal and signature of the court. According to Rajnagar police station incharge Leeladhar Malviya, reader of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal Court Rajsamand, Rajkumar (52), son of Ramesh Kumar Baghela, resident of Sita Ram Colony, Dholpur, submitted a report at Rajnagar police station.
It was reported that in court case number 201/2020 Harendra Singh vs. Laxman Singh, a letter was received from the bank regarding a suspicious court letter. In this, the date written was 9 January 2024. On that day the presiding officer was on leave. Harendra Singh also forged his seal and signature on the Tahrir and presented it in the Bank for claim. Police registered the case and started investigation.
During police investigation, on the basis of CCTV footage and evidence, the accused Harendra Singh (28), son of Dharam Singh Rawat, resident of Samelia police station Bhim, was arrested.
In this, Harendra Singh, in order to get his own claim amount before the maturity period, prepared a fake claim letter in the court, forged the seal and signature of that court and presented the fake claim letter to Canara Bank Rajsamand to get the claim amount.
In this case, the police is making a thorough inquiry about the person who helped in making fake claim letter, fake seal and other documents.
