Bank of Baroda informs Stock Exchange about Strike on 11 September
Bank of Baroda has informed the stock exchanges that its employees’ unions have given notice to go on strike over various issues and demands. The disclosure was made by the bank on September 2, 2026.

The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), which consists of seven unions — AIBEA, AIBOC, NCBE, AIBOA, BEFI, INBEF and INBOC — has served notice for strikes on September 11, 2026, September 28 to 30, 2026, and a continuous strike from October 26, 2026. The Akhil Bhartiya Bank of Baroda Officer’s Sangathan has also served a strike notice.
Bank of Baroda said that it is taking all necessary steps to ensure the smooth functioning of its branches and offices if the strike takes place. However, the bank also stated that the functioning of its branches and offices may be affected if the proposed strikes materialise.
If the proposed strikes go ahead and employees participate, customers may face disruption in the normal functioning of Bank of Baroda branches and offices on the affected dates.
