A family dispute case between bank employees has been reported in Sultanpur, where a bank manager couple is entangled in a legal battle. The matter took a new turn after the wife, who is the manager of UP Gramin Bank, Tajuddinpur, filed an FIR against her husband, Shivnarayan, an Assistant Manager at Baroda UP Bank’s Shahabuddinpur branch.
The dispute began when Shivnarayan accused his wife of having an extramarital affair. In response, the wife alleged that her husband is intentionally trying to defame her. According to the FIR, the couple got married in 2015, and their relationship was initially harmonious. However, over the years, conflicts arose, and she faced physical abuse.
The wife claims that she has been living separately from her husband since 2023, and several legal cases, including divorce proceedings, are already pending in court. She further alleged that her husband made false accusations against her to damage her social reputation.
The women’s police station has taken cognizance of the complaint and initiated an investigation into the matter.
