How much commission Banks get for Amarnath Yatra Registration?

One of the most sacred pilgrimages in India – The Amarnath Yatra, is set to begin on July 3, 2026, and will continue till August 28, 2026.

Registration for the Amarnath Yatra 2026 have opened on April 15 and pilgrims can register through 550 designated bank branches across the country, including State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, and Axis Bank.

How much commission Banks get for Amarnath Yatra Registration?

The Registration amount for Amarnath Yatra is ₹150/-. Out of this, Rs.15/- will be paid to Bank as commission. This amount will be including GST. Rest ₹135/- will be paid to the Yatra account.

Amarnath Yatra Route

There are two main ways to reach Amarnath: Pahalgam and Baltal.

Pahalgam Route

• Distance: About 48 km
• Time: 4–5 days
• Path: Easy to moderate
• This route is longer but safer.

Baltal Route

• Distance: About 14 km
• Time: 1–2 days
• Path: Steep and tough
• This route is shorter but harder.
