The video has created a debate over the management of registration. People are asking – how banks can handle such huge crowd with limited resources.
Due to such huge crowd, devotees are forced to stand in line and wait for hours. The Government and Banks should have made proper arrangements for the registration.
How to do registration of Amarnath Yatra in Banks?
Only individuals between 13 and 70 years of age are eligible for registration. Women with pregnancy more than 6 weeks are not eligible for yatra registration.
All pilgrims must submit a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) issued after April 8, 2026, from authorised doctors or medical institutions. The certificate will be verified before the final yatra permit is issued.
After this, devotees need to visit the banks for registration. Devotees need to take KYC documents and all other related documents to the banks for registration.
