The State Bank of India (SBI) has renovated Primary School Ambersar in Jind, Haryana, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The bank spent around ₹75 lakh on the project.
The renovation work has greatly improved the school. It included repairing the school building, renovating classrooms, fresh painting, improving toilets, and upgrading drinking water facilities. These improvements will provide a better and safer learning environment for students.
A special program was held at the school to mark the completion of the project. Bank officials, the school Principal, teachers, and staff members were present at the event.
Through this initiative, SBI has once again shown its strong commitment to education and community development. SBI is the largest public sector bank in India, and such acts become a motivation for other organisations.
