Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced a change in its senior management with effect from February 27, 2026. Shri Vinay Kumar has been appointed as Chairman (Scale VII) of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, Guwahati. Assam Gramin Vikash Bank is a Regional Rural Bank (RRB). Before this appointment, Shri Vinay Kumar was serving as Zonal Manager – General Manager at the Zonal Office in Guwahati.
Educational Qualification and Experience
Shri Vinay Kumar holds a Bachelor of Arts (English) degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Banking and Finance. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
He has more than 31 years of experience in the banking sector and has served in various positions within Punjab National Bank during his career.
