A dispute between a security guard and a policeman on Thursday evening at the State Bank of India (SBI) branch on Lahar Road in Bhind Madhya Pradesh resulted in the guard being injured. The incident began when Rajveer Singh, the security guard, closed the bank’s channel gate around 4 PM. Head constable Rajendra Singh, who is posted at the SP office, arrived at the scene and asked the guard to open the gate. However, the guard refused, leading to a heated argument between the two.

During the argument, the policeman punched the guard in the face and pushed him. As a result, the guard fell and suffered a fracture in his leg. He was immediately taken to the district hospital for treatment.

Bank employees were upset by the incident and reported it to SP Dr. Asit Yadav. After hearing their complaint, the SP suspended the policeman and ordered a preliminary investigation into the matter. The policeman also gave his version of events, claiming that the guard had misbehaved with him first. The situation may be further clarified through CCTV footage from the bank.

A primary investigation is currently underway to determine the details of the dispute and resolve the issue.
