Panchayat broke bank’s lock and allowed elderly couple to live in their home amid loan default case

In the Uklana Mandi area of Hisar, Haryana, the panchayat broke the lock of a house that had been sealed by the bank four days ago for non-payment of a loan. The elderly couple and their grandchildren were allowed to enter the house.

Meanwhile, the Janata Sarkar Morcha removed the bank’s writing and wrote that no bank or government officer should enter the house without the permission of the Janata Sarkar Morcha. It is to be noted that the bank sealed the house on December 14 for not paying the loan installments.

It is worth noting that Pratap’s son Rajesh took the loan, who has been missing for a long time and his daughter-in-law is living in her maternal home. Pratap Singh said that his family had been living outside the house for four days in the cold with a tarpaulin, and the neighbors provided food.

The elderly couple said that they have no source of income and are only living on a pension. Meanwhile, their income is shown as higher in the family ID, which they have tried to fix several times in the block development and panchayat office.

The bank had sealed the house on December 14. The loan had been taken out by the couple’s son, Rajesh, who has been missing for some time. The couple’s daughter-in-law is living with her parents.

The elderly couple, Pratap Singh and his wife, had been living outside the house for four days in the cold. They had been provided with food by neighbors.
