In broad daylight, two masked criminals robbed an Indian bank. They held a gun to the manager’s head and demanded 40 lakh rupees. They claimed to have dynamite in their possession, threatening it would explode. The bank staff were stunned upon seeing the gun. In just 5 minutes, the robbers took the loot and fled.

The incident occurred at the branch of the Indian bank on Ganesh Marg in Kishangarh, Ajmer. Bank manager Kuldeep Singh explained, “On Saturday afternoon around 3:30, two masked criminals entered the bank while we were going about our routine work. One of them approached me and grabbed my collar. I pushed him away, but he pointed his gun at my head, demanding 40 lakh rupees. I told him there was no need to shoot, but he forcibly took me out of my cabin and repeatedly asked me to open the locker. We refused to open it.”

Afterward, the robber proceeded to the cashier, Pawan Mittal, who described the robber as wearing a helmet and holding a gun in one hand and something else in the other, claiming it was dynamite. He stuck it to the wall and warned against using any phones or making any sudden movements, threatening that the dynamite would explode within a 1-kilometer radius.

Another masked robber went to the manager with a collar and gathered all of us to search the cash counter. Whatever money was left, he also put it in a bag. Then, they locked all five of us in a bank room and fled with 3 lakh 76 thousand rupees.

I had a phone in my pocket and called the tea vendor. He came and unlocked the gate. At that moment, we all came out and informed the police. Ghan Shyam Singh, the in-charge of Madangarh police station, stated, “We received information about the robbery around 3:22 PM. After confirming the robbery, we set up checkpoints in the surrounding areas and informed the special police. We also checked CCTV footage, which showed two masked individuals. Both had guns.”

The branch where the incident occurred is located just half a kilometer from Agrasen Circle on Ajmer Road. Typically, there is less vehicle noise on this road, which may have been a reason for the robbers to plan the heist. The two masked robbers entered the bank at approximately 3:15 PM. The one with the mask directly entered the manager’s cabin at 3:16 PM, while the other with a helmet stood in the middle of the bank. Around 3:17 PM, the masked robber who entered the manager’s cabin came out, and within the next minute, they took the money from the cash counter. By 3:20 PM, the robbers were outside and fled on a bike.

Manish Sharma, the Deputy Commissioner of Kishangarh City, mentioned that after the daylight robbery at the bank, the cyber cell has also been activated. The police have formed various teams to analyze CCTV footage in the surrounding areas. Checkpoints have been set up at different locations to apprehend the two masked criminals.
