Infosys Q2 FY25 Performance
Financial Highlights
- Net Profit: ₹6,506 crore (4.7% YoY increase)
- Revenue: ₹40,986 crore (5.1% YoY increase)
The growth was driven by mega-deals and increased demand in the financial services sector. Infosys also raised its FY25 revenue growth forecast to 3.75%-4.5%.
Comparison with Previous Bonuses
- Q1 FY25: 80% bonus
- Q4 FY24: 60% bonus
Bonus Policy and Competitor Comparison
Independent of Hybrid Work Model
Unlike TCS, which reportedly linked bonuses to office attendance, Infosys’ bonus policy is not tied to its hybrid work model. Employees are required to work on-site for at least 10 days per month, but this does not affect bonus payouts.
Comparison with TCS
Infosys’ bonus payout outshines TCS, which reportedly offered an average bonus of 50-60% and provided higher bonuses for employees working from the office.
Upcoming Salary Hikes
Infosys CEO Salil Parekh announced that salary hikes will begin selectively in January 2025 and will be extended to all employees by April 2025.
