Initially, the e-scooter will be available in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, with plans to expand to other cities in the future.
Power and Performance
The Activa e: is powered by a pair of 1.5kWh swappable batteries, known as Honda Mobile Power Pack e:, which offer a combined range of 102km on a full charge. These batteries are developed and maintained by Honda Power Pack Energy India. The e-scooter features a 6kW permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, producing 22Nm of peak torque. It offers three riding modes – Econ, Standard, and Sport – with the Sport mode achieving a top speed of 80km/h. The Activa e: can accelerate from 0 to 60km/h in just 7.3 seconds.

On the technology front, the Activa e: boasts a large 7-inch TFT screen with a variety of connectivity features through the Honda RoadSync Duo smartphone app. The display supports navigation and features both day and night modes, controlled via handlebar toggle switches. Additionally, Honda’s H-Smart key system is integrated, offering functions such as Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock, and Smart Start.
Design and Comfort
In terms of hardware, the Activa e: rides on 12-inch alloy wheels, paired with telescopic forks and dual springs for suspension. Braking is handled by a disc-drum combination. The e-scooter will be available in five colour options: Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black.
Battery Swapping Infrastructure
Honda has already set up battery-swapping stations in Bengaluru and Delhi, with plans to expand to Mumbai soon, making it easier for users to exchange batteries as needed. With the Activa e:, Honda aims to offer a sustainable, tech-driven riding experience for Indian consumers.
