On 8th January 2024, the regional manager of Baroda UP Bank issued explanation letter to one of the branch manager. The reason of explanation letter will surprise you. The explanation letter was issued because Branch Manager had left the WhatsApp group which was created to boost bank business, as per letter.
As per the letter, the WhatsApp group was created so that the communication could be made easier and messages could be transmitted to and fro in a fast way. The letter says that since branch manager left the group, it is anticipated that this act could lead to adverse business figures for the bank.

WhatsApp is not official mode of communication.every bank has email facility and internal and confidential information should be shared through email or letter rather than WhatsApp group.It is only tactics to make pressure on employees every time.

There are many legal ways of comunication in bank and WhatsApp Messenger is not safe for Bank as well as personal life and not any kind of misbehave by manager RM is totally wrong and BM should complaint against RM in court

Then bank should provide phone having apps for communication.
It’s is better to keep mouth shut if even bank person like you are living in ignorance and calling a government employee kamchor without understanding the background.
Please bataiye bank se kin kin ko kya kya pareshani hai. Sabhi ka solution milega yahan. ATM chequebook home loan personal loan sab ka solution milega. Savings account pe adhaar card se loan milega. Loan nahi chukao toh bhi chalega. Yaad rahe January mahine mein bank 26 din band rahegi. Jitni jaldi ho apna kaam nipta le aur apne apne mathe pe lo lagwale.

Mail ids should be provided and should be used in working hours only.
Bank should provide mobile if any apps need to be used for office purpose.
Employees puchase mobile for personal use with their salary.

Whatsapp is for time pass people. Being whole day chatting and not working will not increase banks business. RM has only work to chat on figures not actual work for figures. RM is totally wrong and cannot charge his employee on such ground of leaving chat. Chating and scrolling spoils personal life too.
