Bank of India Mutual Fund has introduced the Bank of India Consumption Fund, an open-ended equity scheme focusing on the consumption theme.

New Fund Offer (NFO) Details

  • Open for Subscription: November 29 to December 13
  • Reopening for Sale/Repurchase: December 23

Investment Objective

The fund aims to provide long-term capital growth through an actively managed portfolio of equity and equity-related securities of companies involved in consumption and related sectors.

Benchmark and Management

  • Benchmark: Nifty India Consumption TRI
  • Fund Manager: Nitin Gosar

Exit Load

  • No exit load for up to 10% of investments if redeemed/switched-out within 12 months of allotment.
  • A 1% exit load applies to remaining investments redeemed/switched-out within 12 months.
  • No exit load for any redemption after 12 months.

Investment Details

  • Minimum Investment: ₹5,000 and multiples of ₹1 thereafter
  • Additional Purchase: ₹1,000 and multiples of ₹1 thereafter

Asset Allocation

  • 80-100% in equities of consumption and related sectors
  • 0-20% in other equities
  • 0-20% in debt and money market instruments
  • 0-10% in REITs and InvITs

Investment Strategy

The fund will invest across market capitalizations, using a bottom-up approach to identify companies likely to benefit from consumption-driven economic trends.
