
The Bank of Baroda located in the University campus of Jodhpur was targeted by thieves on Monday night. The thieves entered inside the bank by breaking the lock and broke all the drawers inside. Information about the incident was received on the arrival of bank employees on Tuesday morning. The manager has registered a case against thieves at Bhagat Ki Kothi police station.
According to the information received from Bhagat ki Kothi police station, Bank of Baroda University campus branch manager Surendra Thalor has lodged a report in the police station. The report said that on the night of January 8, an unknown thief broke the lock of the bank gate and entered inside and broke all the drawers in the bank with the intention of stealing. The bank manager said that as per his information the thief was not able to steal anything from the bank.
He said that information about the incident was received when the sanitation worker came to the bank on Tuesday morning. After which all the officers and employees reached the bank and first the money and all the goods were checked. Police have registered a case against the unknown thief and are examining the CCTV footage of the bank.
