A 35-year-old man, identified as Rajendra Pal, allegedly died by suicide after consuming poison. His brother, Sher Singh, has accused Rajendra’s wife and her alleged lover of driving him to take the extreme step. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation.

Allegations Against Wife and Her Alleged Lover

According to Sher Singh, Rajendra had been married for 12 years and worked at a bank. He was the father of four children. However, he had been disturbed for some time due to suspicions about his wife’s alleged extramarital affair with Bhanu Pratap, also known as Pintu, a resident of the same village.

Rajendra had reportedly seen his wife and Bhanu Pratap talking on the phone multiple times, which caused him distress. On Sunday, Bhanu Pratap allegedly called Rajendra to his house and told him that his wife no longer liked him. He allegedly threatened Rajendra, saying that he should leave her, or things would get worse for him.

The Tragic Incident

On Sunday morning, Rajendra confided in his brother Sher Singh, saying that his wife and Bhanu Pratap were pressuring him to leave and threatening him. Later that night, Rajendra’s wife reportedly called Sher Singh and asked him to come to their house. Upon arrival, Sher Singh found Rajendra in a critical condition after consuming a poisonous substance.

Rajendra was rushed to a private hospital for treatment but did not survive. Following his death, the police were informed, and the body was sent for postmortem examination.

Police Investigation Underway

Inspector Abhishek Kumar confirmed that a case has been registered based on Sher Singh’s complaint. The police are investigating the allegations against Rajendra’s wife and Bhanu Pratap. Further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
