An FIR has been filed against an AGM in SBI for slapping and misbehaving with a Chief Manager in Junagadh, Gujarat. The complaint has been filed by Chief Manager Ravindra Dharmanath Prasad against SBI AGM Sudhir Sharma, who is posted at the SBI regional office near Bhadadheen College.
As per the reports, the AGM misbehaved and assaulted the Chief Manager in front of all the staff. SBI employees are protesting against this incident as nobody has the authority to misbehave with any staff or physically assault any staff.
What is the whole matter as per FIR?
The Chief Manager Ravindra Dharmanath Prasad has filed an FIR against the AGM. As per FIR, the Chief Manager belongs to Ranchi, Jharkhand, and is posted in Junagadh Gujarat.
He is working as a Chief Manager for the past year at the Regional Office of the State Bank of India, located opposite Bahauddin College in Junagadh.
On 16/06/2026, he was unwell and had taken leave. On 17.06.2026, he had gone to the chamber of Mr. Sudhir Sharma (Assistant General Manager), three times for work-related matters. AGM was angry with him and not talking properly. As per FIR, AGM repeatedly insulted him saying – ‘You do not work, you are useless.’
In the evening, around 17:20 hours (05:20 PM), he went to his chamber and asked him, ‘Sir, why are you angry with me? I am doing the work assigned by you properly.’ Hearing this, Sudhir Sharma became extremely furious and said, ‘You don’t work, you are useless, get out of my chamber!’ Say this, he stood up, grabbed his left upper arm, opened the cabin door, and pushed him outside. When he asked him, ‘Why are you behaving like this? I am your employee,’ AGM lost control, came forward, and slapped him hard across the cheek.
He then called out to the other staff members present, saying, ‘Get a stick and beat him out of here!’ When he protested, asking why he was acting this way, he threatened him, saying, ‘You don’t know who I am, I have connections all the way to the top. I will kill you.’
At that moment, our other office staff members gathered around. The incident was witnessed firsthand by Soumyaben Saha, Harshitaben Jangid, Aalap Solanki, Vishal Dolar, and Hiren Purohit. As per FIR, Assistant General Manager Sudhir Sharma, had spoken aggressively with him in the past as well, and frequently insulted and defamed the chief manager in front of other colleagues regarding office work.
