Key Highlights of the Incident:
The Disruption: The intense commotion and chanting forced Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to pause her speech at the podium. She requested the crowd to maintain silence with folded hands.
CM Chandrababu Naidu’s Intervention: Seeing the continuous disruption, an angry Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stepped up to the microphone to strictly reprimand the agitators.
Naidu delivered a stern warning from the stage, stating, “Behaving without discipline when a Union Minister is speaking is unacceptable… An official event has decorum, and it must be respected.” He ordered everyone to sit down immediately.
Following the Chief Minister’s sharp intervention, the crowd fell silent, allowing the Finance Minister to successfully finish her address.
The event was also attended by notable figures including Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, IT Minister Nara Lokesh, and Reliance Executive Director Anant Ambani. The video clip of the interaction and Naidu’s sudden intervention went viral across social media platforms shortly after.
