Did CH Venkatachalam receive Rs 5 crore Bribe from Government for Deferring Strike?

The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) suddenly called off the strike proposed to be held from 28 to 30 September 2026. Bankers are demanding UFBU to explain the reason of strike deferment.

BOI Officers Organization (BOIOO), affiliated to NOBO and BMS has raised a very serious allegation against the General Secretary of AIBEA – CH Venkatachalam. BOIOO said that Rs.5 crore bribe was paid to CH Venkatachalam by Government of India for deferring the strike.

If the allegations are true, a proper investigation should be conducted. The post has caused a lot of chaos on social media, and CH Venkatachalam should respond to the allegations.
