A case of a missing girl has been reported from Ambala, Haryana. The 27-year-old woman left her home early on Thursday morning without informing anyone. When she did not return home by evening, her family got very worried and began searching for her, but they could not find any information about her whereabouts.
The girl lives with her family in the Than Panjokhra area of Ambala. Her father told the police that he has two sons and one daughter. On Thursday morning, his daughter left home as usual, and they assumed she had gone to work. However, when she didn’t come back in the evening, they contacted her workplace, Yes Bank in Ambala Cantonment, and were shocked to learn that she hadn’t gone to the bank that day.
The family then immediately started calling her friends and searching nearby areas, but they got no leads. Feeling helpless, they informed the police and filed a missing person complaint.
The girl’s father has alleged that a man named Gunjeet Singh, son of Rakesh Jain and resident of Shalimar Colony, may have taken their daughter. According to the father, Gunjeet had been pressuring the girl to marry him for a long time. The family believes he may have taken her away with the intention of forcing her into marriage.
The police have taken the case seriously and registered an FIR. A search operation has been launched to find both the girl and the accused, Gunjeet Singh, who is also missing from his house.
Police spokesperson Sindar Gehlot stated that both the missing girl and the accused’s mobile phones have been put under surveillance. The police are tracking their locations and are hopeful of finding them soon.
