Gorakhpur: In a shocking incident, a woman has taken advantage of an SBI cashier and extorted a large sum of money from him. Using threats of filing a false rape case against the cashier, she coerced him into giving her money. Shockingly, she even convinced him to sell his ancestral house and used the proceeds to purchase land in Lucknow under her name. The total amount she managed to obtain from him is approximately one crore rupees.
To make matters worse, the woman and her husband are now demanding even more money from the SBI employee. Realizing the severity of the situation, the employee has taken action and filed a complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP). The Tiwaripur police have registered a case against the couple for extortion, as well as threats to the employee’s life and property.
According to the employee’s complaint, their unfortunate encounter took place in 2014 at the bank where he worked. Moved by her plea of need, he gave her Rs 2,000. The next day, she returned the money and began visiting the bank frequently under various pretexts. Over time, they developed a friendship, and she started inviting him to her house, claiming that her husband worked abroad.
However, their friendship took a dark turn when one day she began pressuring him to buy land in Lucknow, threatening to accuse him of rape if he refused. Feeling trapped by the circumstances and facing financial difficulties, he made the difficult decision to sell his ancestral house on November 10, 2015, for a sum of Rs 40 lakh. Shockingly, the woman used this money to purchase the land in Lucknow.
As time went on, the woman continued to demand money from the employee, always claiming to be in dire need. In addition to the house purchase, she managed to obtain Rs 19 lakh from him, which she used to furnish a house in Tiwaripur. From the years 2015 to 2019, she would extract 15 to 20 thousand rupees from him each month on various pretexts. When he refused to comply any longer, she resorted to blackmail.
When the employee threatened to involve the police, the woman agreed to repay the money in installments. Eventually, she and her husband relocated to Lucknow. However, when the employee insisted on getting his money back, he was summoned to their house. Disturbingly, the woman and her husband allegedly forced him to sign a stamp paper in order to receive the money.
The victim of this heart-wrenching ordeal explained that he had sold everything he had, including his ancestral house, and handed over the money to the woman. As a result, he is now living in a rented room, plagued by mental stress and depression due to the constant fear caused by the couple’s actions.
