Varanasi: Following a complaint from Munni Devi, a resident living near the Hanuman temple in Manduwadih, Varanasi district, a case has been filed against Amritendra Kumar Prabhakar, the former manager of the Sewapuri branch of Union Bank of India, and Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh, the manager of Apex Hospital, as per the court’s orders. The Chitaipur police station has recorded the case and initiated an investigation.
According to Munni Devi, her husband Shyamlal left home for work on October 18, 2010, but did not return home that night. He was working as cashier in that branch. Concerned, she contacted the bank manager to inquire about her husband’s whereabouts. The bank manager informed Munni Devi that Shyamlal had been involved in an accident. Munni Devi, accompanied by her son and son-in-law, rushed to Sewapuri.
Upon arriving at the scene, Munni Devi discovered her husband lying unconscious on the roadside in front of the bank. Shockingly, the bank manager was present, surrounded by three individuals, casually sipping tea. Upon entering the bank, Munni Devi noticed blood stains in the manager’s cabin. Despite her inquiries, the manager refused to disclose any information regarding the accident. With the help of family members, Munni Devi brought Shyamlal back home.
On October 19, 2010, the family took Shyamlal to the doctor for treatment. The assistant general manager of the bank, TP Bhatnagar, arrived at the hospital, accompanied by the manager. Shyamlal was admitted to Apex Hospital. Two days later, when Shyamlal regained consciousness, he revealed a shocking truth. He claimed that the bank manager, along with three other individuals, had brutally assaulted him within the bank premises, leaving him severely injured. Despite receiving treatment, Shyamlal tragically passed away on October 29, 2010. When inquiries were made regarding the cause of his death, the hospital administration failed to provide a satisfactory response. As a result, the exact cause of Shyamlal’s death remains unknown. The police investigation aims to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident.
Bank ka higher management bhi fare nahi lag raha hai
Shyam Lal delivered statements while in consciousness so there is no need to rely or wait Doctors’ report. There are crystal clear clues from BM cabin’s to road side where shyam Lal fall on the road. Apart from that footage of CCTV are available and valid in investigation.
But in this case inquiry from staff members must get that why this shocking incident happened.
