Thieves Open ATM in Karnataka Using Gas Cutter, Burn Huge Cash

A group of thieves made an unsuccessful attempt to break into an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in Nelamangala on the city outskirts, resulting in several currency notes stored inside being consumed by fire caused by a gas cutter. The incident occurred on Thursday, according to the police.

After reviewing the CCTV footage, bank officials from Mumbai contacted the owner of the building hosting the ATM to investigate the situation. Upon the building owner’s arrival at the scene, the perpetrators hastily fled, abandoning their tools.

The footage indicated the participation of two individuals in the attempted robbery, prompting an ongoing investigation by the police into the matter.
