Recently, State Bank of India – the largest public sector Bank in India has requested its employees to use bank’s own demat services. SBI has released a circular regarding implementation of this.

IT Should have been done long back, many SBI staff don’t know much about Demat
Services offered by SBI .It is safe also as the controls and checks will be there that the member using the services will be in much better hands. To make our BANK more profitable and efficient we should use these services first and then tell customers to also open Demat accounts with SBI.
