SBI Chief Manager attacked in Lakhimpur, 3 People Arrested
An incident of attack on chief manager of SBI has been reported in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place on 31 March 2026.
Police have issued challans for three wanted individuals. In a police complaint, the victim, Vivek Yadav, a resident of village Nagariya Khurd, Shahjahanpur, stated that he was working as Chief Manager at the State Bank of India, Lakhimpur.
Around 6:30 pm on March 31st, some people in a Swift car attacked him, leaving him bleeding profusely. Based on the complaint, police registered a case and began searching for the accused.
On Thursday, they detained three of the accused and interrogated them. During interrogation, the accused were identified themselves as Manish Nayak, a resident of Hargovind Nagar Colony, Mahevaganj, Shivam Verma, a resident of Pachkorwa village, and Shailesh Verma alias Chhotu, a resident of Mohalla Govind Nagar, Salempur Kon. Police also recovered the car used in the incident from the accused.
The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released soon.
