The accused of the robbery at Punjab National Bank in Jaipur is also a singer. The accused, Bharat Singh Meena, has a YouTube channel named ‘Nyaro Rajasthan Official’, where he uploads videos of acting and singing. However, the channel has only 1700 subscribers, and he wanted to increase his subscriber count.
Someone suggested to him that to run the channel and attract more subscribers, he would need good cameras, video editors, sound editors, and camera crew. All of these would require a significant amount of money. Therefore, he planned to commit the bank robbery. He had already committed two bank robberies with his brother in the past.
Bharat Lal Meena mentioned that he resides in the Aazad Chowk area of Kotputli Thana. He had a passion for singing since childhood. He couldn’t excel much in studies. To fulfill this passion, he took music classes in Jaipur. He started a YouTube channel in October 2022.
For money, he planned a bank robbery. Subsequently, Bharat Lal Meena, along with his brother Manoj Meena, robbed a bank located in the Vidhayakpuri Thana area. With the money from the robbery, the accused not only began living a luxurious life but also started making and editing his videos.
Accused Manoj Meena and Bharat Singh Meena are brothers. Manoj originally hails from Bhadra Hanumangarh. Both of them carried out bank robberies for money in February 2022, February 2023, and again in February 2024, but this time, they were apprehended. Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Amit Kumar stated that the photos of these criminals and the modus operandi will be shared with the police of other districts, in case similar incidents have occurred elsewhere.
