The dream of becoming a millionaire from the comfort of your home can now be fulfilled by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). To mark its 90th anniversary, the RBI, the country’s central bank, is organizing a nationwide “RBI 90 Quiz Competition,” offering participants the chance to win prizes worth millions of rupees. The team that secures first place at the national level will receive a prize of ₹10 lakhs. Additionally, there are numerous other prizes worth lakhs of rupees up for grabs.
Any youth under 25 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program at any college in India, is eligible to participate. Free online registration for this quiz competition has already begun, with September 17 as the last date for registration.
The quiz will be conducted in four stages. The first stage will be online, open to students from all colleges, who will participate in teams of two. The first round will consist of 36 objective questions to be answered within 15 minutes, using mobile phones, computers, or laptops. Subsequent rounds will include the state round, zonal round, and final round. All participants in the first round will receive certificates. The quiz will cover topics such as current events, the Reserve Bank of India, history, literature, sports, the economy, finance, and general knowledge.
The quiz offers a first prize of ₹10 lakhs, a second prize of ₹8 lakhs, and a third prize of ₹6 lakhs at the national level. At the zonal level, the first prize is ₹5 lakhs, the second prize is ₹4 lakhs, and the third prize is ₹3 lakhs. At the state level, the first prize is ₹2 lakhs, the second prize is ₹1.5 lakhs, and the third prize is ₹1 lakh.
