New Railway Tatkal Ticket Rules from 15 April, Check New Timings for Tatkal Ticket Booking

Update

IRCTC has said that No such change in timings is currently proposed in the Tatkal or Premium Tatkal booking timings for AC or Non-AC classes. The permitted booking timings for agents also remain unchanged. So as of now, new timings are not valid.

Earlier News about New Timings

Earlier, there was news that IRCTC has changed the timings for Tatkal Bookings and the news timings will be implemented from 15 April. The new proposed timings were:

Agent Bookings	Allowed anytime	Not allowed from 10 AM to 12 PM

How to Book Tatkal Tickets (Step-by-Step)

1. Go to www.irctc.co.in or open the IRCTC app
2. Choose your train and class (AC or Non-AC)
3. Select the “Tatkal” quota
4. Fill in passenger details and a valid ID proof number
5. Make the payment to confirm your booking
