The National Confederation of Bank Employees (NCBE) has formed a special committee to prepare and consolidate the Charter of Demands for the upcoming 13th Bipartite Settlement of bank employees. The 12th Bipartite Settlement was signed on March 8, 2024, between the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) and the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU). The 12th Bipartite Settlement covers five years from November 1, 2022, to October 31, 2027. Now, the 13th Bipartite Settlement will become due from November 1, 2027.
The Ministry of Finance has also expressed its intention to complete the 13th BPS proceedings well in time so that bank employees can get benefits from the actual date.
NCBE, a constituent of UFBU, has also formed a committee to prepare a Charter of Demands for the 13th Bipartite Settlement (BPS). The committee will prepare the Charter of Demands, which will then be discussed with UFBU. Other unions, such as AIBOC, have also formed committees to prepare their respective Charters of Demands. The demands submitted by all unions will be discussed, and the final Charter of Demands will then be submitted to the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA).
