AIBOC Forms Committee to Prepare 10th Joint Note Charter of Demands for Bank Officers

The All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) has formed a committee to prepare the “Charter of Demands for Officers” for the upcoming wage negotiations under the 10th Joint Note.

The 13th Bi-partite Settlement (BPS)/ 10th Joint Note for wage revision of employees of the Public Sector Banks is scheduled to take effect from 01.11.2027. The 12th BPS went into effect on November 1, 2022, and is valid for 5 years.

The Government has ordered Bank Management to start the proceedings for 13th BPS well in advance so that Bank Employees can get benefits on time.

According to the AIBOC, the decision to form the committee was taken by the Executive Committee of AIBOC at its 105th meeting. The meeting was held in Hyderabad on July 4 and 5, 2026.

Dilip Kumar Saha to Chair the Committee

AIBOC has entrusted Comrade Dilip Kumar Saha with the responsibility of chairing the committee.

Dilip Kumar Saha is the Executive Vice President of AIBOC and General Secretary of the All India Punjab National Bank Officers’ Association. As chairman, he will lead the committee in the preparation of the Charter of Demands for bank officers.

The committee will work under the chairmanship of Dilip Kumar Saha for the preparation of the officers’ Charter of Demands.

The main responsibility of the newly formed committee is to prepare the Charter of Demands for bank officers. The Charter of Demands is expected to serve as the formal basis for raising officers’ demands during wage negotiations.
