AIBOC Appoints New Leaders During 105th Executive Committee Meeting in Hyderabad

The 105th Executive Committee Meeting of the All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) was held in Hyderabad on July 4 and 5, 2026. During the meeting, several bank officers’ union leaders were appointed to important positions and given new organisational responsibilities.

Com. Upendra Kumar, General Secretary of AIUBOF, has been appointed as Co-Chairman of the Joint Note Draft Committee. Com. Dilip Saha (AIPNBOA GS) has been re-appointed as Chairman of the Committee responsible for drafting the Charter of Demands for the 10th Joint Note.

In another important development, Com. Laxman Singh, Joint General Secretary, has been elevated to the post of Vice President. Com. Rajesh Sekhari, General Secretary of UBOA Punjab and J&K Unit, has also been co-opted as Joint General Secretary.

Meanwhile, Com. Rajesh Kumar Yadav, General Secretary of UBIOA Durgapur and Howrah Unit, has been given the responsibility of coordinating the State AIBOC Committees of the Seven Sister States, West Bengal, Odisha and Sikkim.

The Ministry of Finance, Government of India has also directed public sector banks to complete 13th BPS on time. The 13th Bi-partite Settlement / 10th Joint Note for wage revision of employees of the Public Sector Banks is scheduled to take effect from 01.11.2027.

Earlier, the wage revision settlements were signed in around 2 to 3 years. But the 12th Bi-partite Settlement / 9th Joint Note) was concluded in a much shorter period of 14 months. This year the Government wants to complete the settlement within time. Public Sector Banks have been advised this year to complete the negotiation processes within a maximum period of twelve months.
