Karnataka Bank, a leading private sector bank with a nationwide presence, has announced recruitment for Specialist Officers (Scale I) across various roles. The bank is looking for talented professionals in Chartered Accountancy, Law, IT, and Management to join its dynamic workforce.

Karnataka Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2025

Karnataka Bank is offering 75 vacancies across four specialized roles:

  1. Chartered Accountant – 25 vacancies
  2. Law Officer – 10 vacancies
  3. Specialist Officer (MBA) – 10 vacancies
  4. IT Specialist – 30 vacancies

Karnataka Bank Specialist Officer 2025 Eligibility Criteria

1. Chartered Accountant

  • Candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Should have cleared the CA exam in three attempts or less.
  • Open to 2024 and 2025 batch graduates.

2. Law Officer

  • Must hold a Master of Law (LLM) degree.
  • Should be a postgraduate from a Tier-I college/university.

3. Specialist Officer (MBA)

  • Must possess a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
  • Should have graduated from a Tier-I college/university.
  • Candidates from the 2024 and 2025 batches with a minimum of 70% aggregate marks are eligible.

4. IT Specialist

  • Must have one of the following degrees:
    • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) – IT
    • Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
    • Master of Technology (MTech) – IT
  • Should be a graduate/postgraduate from a Tier-I college/university.

Note: Selected candidates will receive an appointment letter only after successfully completing their courses.

Selection Process

The selection process will involve the following steps:

  1. Shortlisting Based on Eligibility – Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted.
  2. Online Interview – Selected candidates will be invited for an online interview conducted by the bank.
  3. Final Selection – Candidates will be assessed based on their interview performance, eligibility compliance, and successful background verification.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidates will be appointed at Officer Scale I, with an attractive salary package:

  • Basic Pay: ₹48,480 per month
  • Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – 2000/7 – 62,480 – 2340/2 – 67,160 – 2680/7 – 85,920
  • Other Benefits: Eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other allowances.
  • Total Monthly CTC: Approximately ₹1,21,000 at metro centers.

Training and Appointment Process

Induction Training

  • Selected candidates must complete an Induction Training Programme at Karnataka Bank’s Staff Training College in Mangaluru or another designated location.
  • The training will be at the candidate’s own expense.

Job Posting

  • After successful training, candidates will be posted at any branch or office of the bank.

Probation Period

  • The probation period will be one year.
  • Upon satisfactory completion, candidates will be confirmed in service as per bank policies.

Service Bond Requirement

  • Candidates must sign a service bond to work at Karnataka Bank for a minimum of three years.
  • If a candidate leaves before completing this period, they must pay liquidated damages, as mentioned in the appointment letter.
